Job Description
Medical Staff (LPN, RN, EMT-3/ Paramedic)

Location: based in Anchorage, AK and may include travel to Alaska's Northern Region, Southwest, Gulf Coast, Southeast, Interior and within the Anchorage/ Matsu Regions.

Schedule: Full-time/Part-time, variable shifts to include weekends, flexible schedule, and willing to travel

Job Summary:
Looking for new team members that are flexible, adaptable, reliable, customer service oriented, with a 'have fun' attitude. This role will work with a team to conduct activities related to administering Covid-19 vaccines throughout the communities of Alaska. RN/ LPN/ EMT-3 and Paramedics will follow protocol as directed by Beacon’s Chief Operating Officer and our Medical Director. These positions will support COVID vaccinations along with COVID screening and testing. Under the guidance of the Medical Director, implements patient-specific interventions and screening protocols in partnership with the multidisciplinary care team.

Job Scope:
Full-time long term assignment in Alaska
Ability to travel to sites within various Alaska regions (Northern Region, Southwest, Gulf Coast, Southeast, Interior and Anchorage/ Matsu) to administer immunizations and provide testing
Full scope and project duration fluidly changing to support corporate level testing for our clients related to the Coronavirus pandemic
Perform basic assessments based on travel history, record in accordance with project protocol
Preparation of specimen collection for lab testing
Provide education for following preventative practices (proper hygiene, social distancing, etc.)
Sanitization of screening stations as per protocol

Qualifications:
Must possess current Alaska certification as appropriate for skill level (LPN, RN, EMT-3, Paramedic)
Must have valid driver’s license and clean record
Must have prior experience administering immunizations

Physical Demands and Work Conditions:
Work conditions are such that significant time will be spent walking, standing, stooping, sitting. The employee will be working in a potentially high COVID-19 exposure environment and must be able to wear appropriate PPE. Exposure to anesthetic gases, blood and body fluids, sharps, and other health care occupational hazards is routine. Conditions will include exposure to hospital grade cleaning solutions, flammable solutions and gases, e.g., alcohol and oxygen, as well as latex and other industrial chemicals.

Contingencies:
Offer contingent upon ability to pass a pre-employment drug testing, background check, and motor vehicle report.
