Job Type: Contract – 8 weeks

Job Description: Nexus Training Solutions is seeking a skilled and experienced 2A6X2 Aerospace Ground Equipment (AGE) Specialist to join our team. As an AGE Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the operational readiness of our client’s aerospace ground equipment, supporting the efficient and safe functioning of their aviation operations. This position requires strong technical knowledge, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
•Develop Training Management Packages on Aerospace Ground Equipment for OCONUS client’s
•Facilitate the delivery of operation and maintenance training for OCONUS client’s
•Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, repair, and inspection of aerospace ground equipment, including power units, generators, air compressors, heaters, and hydraulic test stands.
•Diagnose equipment malfunctions and perform necessary troubleshooting to identify and resolve issues promptly.
•Conduct inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure equipment compliance with safety regulations and operational standards.
•Maintain accurate records of equipment maintenance, repairs, inspections, and inventory.
•Collaborate with other maintenance personnel and communicate effectively to coordinate work schedules, share information, and ensure efficient equipment availability.
•Follow established maintenance procedures and adhere to safety protocols to minimize risks and ensure a safe working environment.

Requirements:
•High school diploma or equivalent (additional technical education or certifications in related fields is preferred).
•Minimum of 5-years of experience as a 2A6X2 Aerospace Ground Equipment (AGE) Specialist within USAF, or in a similar role.
•In-depth knowledge of aerospace ground equipment, including power units, generators, air compressors, heaters, and hydraulic test stands.
•Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
•Familiarity with technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
•Ability to use diagnostic tools, equipment, and specialized software for equipment maintenance and repairs.
•Attention to detail and ability to perform tasks accurately and efficiently.
•Excellent organizational and time management skills.
•Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
•Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and overtime as required.
•U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance if necessary.
•Physical fitness and ability to lift heavy equipment and perform physically demanding tasks.
